Located in Griffith Park, the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens is an innovator for the global zoo community, creating dynamic experiences to connect people and animals.
My goal was to create a new identity system and website experience that embodied the zoo’s vision for innovation and dynamic experiences to foster connection. In my illustrations, I streamlined a simple animal face structure into a variety of sketches of the zoo’s varied animals. This sketch element appealed to all ages as an homage to simple doodling days and sparked a connection between the audience and the animals.
